For five weekends, you will be able to admire all the hot-‘n-happening seating design from Belgium and abroad along a remarkable scenographic route on the former Van Marcke site in Kortrijk: from iconic design over circular newcomers to young home-grown talent. More than 200 chairs and seating objects are waiting for you to be discovered.
Designer of the YearPLEASE, HAVE A SEAT’ is the new design event of the Biennale Interieur with a special focus on the chair. Besides the exhibition with the latest seating furniture, you will also be able to discover the oeuvre of the new ‘Designer of the Year’ and a special selection of design miniatures will take you through the history of the chair from 15 October to 14 November.”
