This vinaigrette is in slopped octagon shape with chased design. Monogramed. The box hinge and grille hinge both work fine. The pin of the box hinge sticks out a bit on one end and rotated a bit. Box opens and closes properly. Some light dings. Light scratches on the surface. There is some polishing residue underneath the grille.
This vinaigrette came from a large collection of antique vinaigrettes and nutmeg graters I found in a local estate sale. The owner kindly presented prior receipts, from which I learnt that the collection was acquired from various jewelers and antique dealers in the last 25 years.
