This vinaigrette is in handbag shape with chain. The grille features pierced and chased floral pattern. It comes with a piece of sponge. The box hinge and grille hinge both work fine. When the lid closes, it stays slight ajar. Some light dents. Light scratches on the surface. There is light sign of usage underneath the grille.
This vinaigrette came from a large collection of antique vinaigrettes and nutmeg graters I found in a local estate sale. The owner kindly presented prior receipts, from which I learnt that the collection was acquired from various jewelers and antique dealers in the last 25 years.
