Antique 1822 circa Sterling Silver with Gold 14k Vinaigrette Gorgeous

This extremely rare antique century vinaigrette by Thomas Shaw was handmade for the wealthy.Styled and scrolled in Sterling Silver with a 14k solid gold grill wash on the inside.
Thomas Shaw worked between 1818 and 1845. Is sterling silver and gold work was done in the early years. He is renowned for his excellent quality;ity snuff boxes and vinaigrettes.
This has been fully restored so the micro hinges on the grill function as originally made by renowned jewelry maker Huntington Long Island.Every care was taken to maintain the integrity of Thomas Shaw with pure sterling silver solder.
Measures 1 1/2x 1 inch... Both top and bottom have a gorgeous beautiful scroll inlay to the box
