NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS

The New European Bauhaus Prize 2021 winners will be announced at the award ceremony on the 16th of September and the venue will be held at the Ateliers des Tanneurs in Brussels, Belgium.

At the award ceremony will be the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, commissioner Elisa Ferreira and commissioner Mariya Gabriel. 

From the 23rd of April to the 1st of June of 2021 the New European Bauhaus Prize received more than 2 000 applications from all the EU member states.

Between the 11th and the 18th of June, more than 20 000 New European Bauhaus newsletter subscribers were invited to vote for their favourite projects and ideas.

A jury composed of 80 official partners of the initiative from all corners of Europe and a plethora of sectors had the opportunity to evaluate the shortlisted applications from the 28th of June to the 7th of July of 2021. 

The Evaluation Committee of the Commission had now finalised the evaluation process.
